 TIMBAN DEMETRIO R. September 4, 2010. Age 71. Beloved husband of Teresita, M.D. Loving father of Marinita (Paul Zapatka), Demetrio Jr. (Christina) and Emery Ling (Bruce). Dearest grand-father of nine grandchildren - Christopher, Ciara, Matthew, Sophia, Demetrio III, Mia, Justin, Braddock and Rachel. Born in the Philippines, Dr. Timban was a Troy resident for the last 39 years. He was both an accomplished surgeon and natural leader, having served as Chief of Surgery for both Saratoga and Holy Cross Hospitals in Detroit. He was later named Chief of Medicine at Harbor Beach Hospital located in northern Michigan. Dr. Timban also served 8 years as a member of the Michigan Board of Medicine, having been appointed by former Governor John Engler. He founded and led various cultural and civic associations, and proudly served as the local and national president of his alma mater, Manila Central University Medical School. Dr. Timban was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a friend to all and will be dearly missed. Family will receive friends on Tuesday 4-9 p.m. and Wednesday 3-9 p.m. at A.J. Desmond & Sons, 2600 Crooks Road (between Maple and Big Beaver). Funeral Mass Thursday 9:30 a.m. at Saint Anastasia Catholic Church, 4571 John R Rd., Troy. Visitation at church begins at 9 a.m. Committal prayers at White Chapel Cemetery following mass. Memorial tributes may be made to Henry Ford Health System, Philanthropy Office. 2010-09-07 UDO, TAMI MILKA
 UDO TAMI MILKA 44, originally of Clawson and Canton, MI, was sadly taken from us on the 31st day of August 2010. She was the beautiful and loving daughter of the late Millie and Michael Udo and sister Rose, survived by much loved sister Rita, nephew Michael and longtime friend and former husband Robert Billings. She loved her family, friends, cats and was lovingly devoted to the care of all animals. Tami graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern Michigan University. She was a licensed teacher and real estate agent and took pride in renovating and decorating homes. Cooking was one of her greatest passions and enjoyed sharing her creations with others. Tami, you were taken away from us before we could say goodbye. We love you and will miss you so very much. Services will be at 11 a.m., September 7th at Roseland Park Cemetery, 29001 Woodward Avenue, Berkley, MI 48072-0917, (248) 541-1154. In place of flowers, donations to the Michigan Humane Society are appreciated.
